The AC Milan star is reportedly wanted by Tottenham Hotspur, but Everton should join the race to sign him.
Toffees boss Ronald Koeman is still determined to splash the cash this summer, after already having laid out well in excess of £100 million on a wealth of new talent.
The Dutchman will be looking to bolster his attacking options, of that there is no doubt, following the sale of Romelu Lukaku to Manchester United.
On top of that, Yannick Bolasie is still in the rehabilitation stage of his recover from injury, and Aaron Lennon has only just returned following his extended break from the game due to well-documented personal problems.
Everton obviously need to strengthen by signing an orthodox centre-forward, but they must not neglect the need to add a wide attacking player, and with this in mind, they should challenge Tottenham for AC Milan star Suso.
AC Milan’s Suso
The 23-year-old impressed at the San Siro last term, chipping in with seven goals and nine assists in 36 outings for the Rossoneri, and his fine form attracted attention from Spurs, according to the Mirror.
The Spaniard can play anywhere along the front-line, but is perhaps most comfortable when deployed in the right wing role – an area where the Blues definitely need to improve upon.
He is lively, quick along the ground, possesses a tireless work-ethic, and is exceptionally gifted from a technical aspect.
Suso is still under contract with Milan for another two years, however, so Koeman would have to dig deep in order to bring him to Goodison Park this summer.
However, Milan are currently in the midst of a major rebuilding process that has already seen a whole host of talented attackers arrive at the San Siro this summer, so they could be persuaded to sanction the former Liverpool star’s exit.
And if Everton do end up signing Suso, it could turn out to be a really significant piece of business from the club.
