Leicester City appear to be on the verge of signing Monaco midfielder Youri Tielemans, according to a report from Sky Sports’ live transfer blog (31/1; 17:18).

The 21-year-old Belgium international flew into the Midlands on Wednesday to complete his medical, with Portuguese midfielder Adrien Silva reportedly going the other way.

Sky Sports News reporter Kirsty Edwards posted a Twitter photo of Tielemans leaving the King Power Stadium so this move appears close to completion:

Meanwhile, Wolverhampton Wanderers have confirmed that out-of-favour striker Leo Bonatini has joined Championship outfit Nottingham Forest on a loan deal until the end of the season.

The Brazilian was instrumental in helping Wolves gain promotion to the Premier League last season, playing 43 matches and netting 12 times, but has not featured for them since November.

According to the Daily Mail’s live transfer blog (31/1; 17:41), former England striker Peter Crouch is at Burnley’s training ground putting the finishing touches on his move from Stoke City.

It had previously been reported by Sky Sports News that the veteran forward could be involved in a part-exchange deal that could see Burnley striker Sam Vokes move to the Potters.

In another update involving Stoke, Everton plan to recall Cuco Martina from his loan at the Bet365 Stadium and instead send him out on another one to Feyenoord, according to the Sky Sports live transfer blog (31/1; 17:27)

The defender’s move to the Netherlands will reportedly be with a view to a permanent deal.
