Tottenham Hotspur are now expected to focus on signing Eintracht Frankfurt hitman Randal Kolo Muani if Harry Kane moves on.

Randal Kolo Muani is expected to become Tottenham’s ‘priority’ as a replacement for Harry Kane.

That is according to reporter Sacha Tavolieri, who claims that Kolo Muani is emerging as a top Tottenham target.

Tavolieri claims that Tottenham’s interest is ‘huge’ and that Kolo Muani is keen to make the move to North London.

It’s noted that ENIC have given the green light to sell Kane this summer as he enters the final year of his contract.

Bayern Munich are very interested in signing Kane and, should he leave, Kolo Muani is wanted as a replacement.

Frankfurt are seeking a huge deal worth around €80million (£69million) for Kolo Muani, meaning Tottenham would need to dig deep.

In fact, that would be a club-record deal, far eclipsing the deal struck for Tanguy Ndombele in 2019.

Tottenham wanted Randal Kolo Muani for free

What’s interesting is that Tottenham have been heavily linked with Kolo Muani before.

Foot Mercato reported in October 2021 that Tottenham were interested in signing Kolo Muani.

Then with Nantes, Kolo Muani was coming towards the end of his contract and Spurs were keen.

The report even went as far to state that Fabio Paratici met with Kolo Muani’s representatives to discuss a move to Spurs.

Kolo Muani ended up picking Eintracht Frankfurt instead and the move has certainly paid off.

The 24-year-old was sensational last season, racking up 23 goals and 17 assists in 46 games for Frankfurt.

Capable of playing up front or out wide, Kolo Muani is a threat across the front line and could lead Tottenham into a post-Kane era.

Having to pay £69million for a player Tottenham wanted for free last summer will sting, but Kolo Muani could be a huge addition for Spurs.
