West Ham United fans don’t actually appear particularly excited over links with Said Benrahma.
The London Evening Standard say that West Ham are now targeting the Brentford winger, as they seek a replacement for Felipe Anderson.
But Benrahma would cost them £25 million to bring in.
And West Ham feel that it would be poor business, considering they let go of Grady Diangana for less earlier this summer.
Despite West Ham fans’ reticence to see the deal go through at the current price, a player of Benrahma’s quality could help to improve their squad.
The Hammers have already recruited well from the Championship, with Jarrod Bowen looking like a real star in their team now, and Benrahma could well follow suit.
The Algerian was a huge threat for the Bees last term, when he scored 17 goals and claimed nine assists, and he appears ready to make the step up to the Premier League now.
