Celtic fans have taken to Twitter to heap praise on Scott Brown, following the 1-0 win over FK Sarajevo on Thursday evening.
The victory helped Neil Lennon’s side qualify for the group stage of the Europa League, where they’ve been drawn in a very tough group containing Sparta Prague, AC Milan, Lille.
One man who shone against the Bosnian side in particular was Brown, who drew praise from some supporters on Twitter for his efforts.
The 35-year-old was making his 12th appearance of the campaign, and remains a crucial cog for the Hoops despite his advancing years.
Brown played the entire 90 minutes and looked as good as ever on a scrappy night for the team in general – regardless of that, they got the result they needed.

The Bhoys have now won all but two of their 12 games so far this season, and qualifying for the group stage deserves credit.
It is no easy feat with a number of long-distance journeys needing to be made at times.

Odsonne Edouard’s goal secured the victory, but Brown – who impressively hasn’t missed a competitive game yet this season – helped ensure Lennon’s men kept a clean sheet with a tireless, composed midfield display which oozed experience.
