If Dusan Vlahovic could turn back time, snubbing Arsenal might not happen again a second time.

The Serbia international was heavily linked with a transfer to the Gunners in January of this year.

However, Vlahovic wound up signing for Juventus in a £66 million deal [Sky Sports].

But fast forward 11 months and, well, the former Fiorentina marksman may not have made the same choice, in hindsight.

Arsenal are top of the Premier League table, five points clear of second-placed Manchester City.

Of course, there’s still a very long way to go, but few would back against the North Londoners going all the way come the end of the season.

In Turin, however, nothing good is happening at Juve right now.

The Old Lady are third in Serie A, 10 points behind the leaders and now there’s ‘chaos’ ensuing at board level, with a series of influential figures resigning this week [The Daily Mail].

There’s so much uncertainty at Juventus at the moment and Vlahovic has to be second guessing his decision to reject Arsenal in favour of the Italian giants.

Granted, snubbing Mikel Arteta’s side in January wasn’t a major decision, given that they were stuttering in the Premier League, had just terminated Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s contract and overall the future didn’t seem overly bright.

But what we know now is that Arsenal’s future looks a hell of a lot brighter than Juve’s in the short term at least and the player himself must be sick at not grabbing a piece of it when he could.
