Naby Keita looks poised to potentially start for Liverpool against Cardiff City on Sunday.
Liverpool take on the Championship outfit in the fourth round of the FA Cup.
Reds manager Jurgen Klopp is likely to ring the changes from the 3-1 victory over Crystal Palace in the Premier League last time around.
Alisson, a £66 million signing in 2018, is likely to drop out in favour of promising Irish goalkeeper Caomihin Kelleher.
However, it could be a full-strength defence against the Bluebirds, with Trent Alexander-Arnold, Virgil van Dijk, Ibrahima Konate and Andy Robertson more than likely going to make the starting lineup.
Ahead of them, Keita, who was absent due to Africa Cup of Nations duty, is probably going to come back into midfield, alongside, Jordan Henderson and Fabinho.
With Keita available, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain will probably continue in a wide role, with Takumi Minamino on the opposite flank as the duo support central attacker Diogo Jota instead of Roberto Firmino.
Unfortunately for Liverpool supporters, it seems improbable that Luis Diaz will be available.
The Colombia international joined the Anfield outfit in a £50 million deal at the end of the January transfer window.
But Klopp hasn’t even seen the 25-year-old in training yet and with the City clash coming as soon as Sunday, Diaz is unlikely to be involved.
Potential Liverpool XI: Kelleher; Alexander-Arnold, Van Dijk, Konate, Robertson; Fabinho, Henderson, Keita; Oxlade-Chamberlain, Minamino, Jota.
