Celtic captain Scott Brown was in fine form this week as his side drew 3-3 with Manchester City in an electrifying encounter.
The Scottish champions hosted Pep Guardiola’s side at Celtic Park in the second of their Champions League Group C matches.
Many were fearful for them beforehand after they lost their opening game away to Barcelona 7-0.
However, proved to be a night of high entertainment as the Hoops put on a display of the highest order against the Premier League leaders.
In the eventual 3-3 draw they led on three separate occasions before being pegged back by City.
There were impressive performances across the park for Brendan Rodgers’ men but none more so than captain Brown who proved his quality with a superb showing.

He managed 62 touches in total, with only one of them proving to be unsuccessful.
Defensively he was a rock, winning two tackles, one interception and six defensive duels. He also won back possession in midfield on seven separate occasions, the most of any Celtic player, while he posted nine ball recoveries.
The Celtic skipper’s passing was excellent, too, managing 40 accurate passes in total and enjoying an overall pass success of 87 per cent.
