Tottenham Hotspur could hand a new deal to Son Heung-min.

Tottenham Hotspur forward Son Heung-min has told Goal that he can’t talk about rumours suggesting that he will be offered a new deal to stay with the club.
Spurs claimed a thumping 4-0 win over Everton on Saturday evening, with Son once again running riot to continue his fine recent form under Mauricio Pochettino.
Harry Kane bagged two goals, but Son notched a goal and an assist as he again caused havoc in the final third, leaving Jonjoe Kenny in his wake in the build-up to Tottenham’s second goal.

The 25-year-old winger has now hit six goals and four assists in his last 10 outings in all competitions, and is becoming an increasingly important player for Spurs.
Whilst Kane, Christian Eriksen and Dele Alli have stolen the headlines in Tottenham’s attack, Son is now putting himself in the same conversation having kicked on again this term.
After an impressive record of 14 goals and six assists in the Premier League, Son has grabbed eight goals and four assists in the league this term, and is on course to eclipse last season’s tally in both categories.

On Friday night, The Mirror reported that Tottenham are poised to open contract talks with Son, as they want to offer him an extended stay in North London whilst also handing him an upgrade on his £60,000-a-week contract.
Now, Tottenham ace Son has told Goal that he hasn’t heard anything about a new deal just yet and can’t really talk about the situation, but he is happy and learning a lot with Spurs following his 2015 move from Bayer Leverkusen.
“I haven’t heard any special comments about that,” said Son. “Although I’m having a great time here, I don’t believe that is what I can talk about at this moment. I’m learning a lot at Tottenham, so I’d like to focus on Tottenham and my performances for now,” he added.
