One Tottenham Hotspur star has excelled on international duty as he prepares for yet another season in North London.
Under Ange Postecoglou, Tottenham Hotspur finished fifth in the Premier League table and looked much more exciting on the eye under the Australian’s tutelage.
With Harry Kane leaving the club last summer to join Thomas Tuchel at Bayern Munich, things looked bleak for the North London club as the Englishman was a consistent performer for the Lilywhites no matter who was the manager.
A new striker was not brought in with Postecoglou choosing to rely on Brazilian Richarlison and Heung-Min Son and the South Korean forward has been excelling on international duty.

Son excels for South Korea
South Korea took on China in a World Cup qualification group match and the former Bayer Leverkusen forward excelled for his country yet again.
As per FotMob, the winger was awarded with a 7.8 rating after the match, he completed 76 per cent of his passes and created one clear cut chance during the game.
As well as this, Son completed six dribbles and won nine duels and he certainly looks back to his best and could have yet another starring role up front for the Lilywhites next season.
South Korea beat China in the end with midfielder Kang-In Lee netting the winning goal in the second half but Son’s performance was very impressive.
His team dominated possession with 80 per cent and 11 shots at goal to China’s two. Son’s persistence throughout the 90 minutes helped South Korea break their surprisingly resilient opponents down.
South Korea are top of Group C with 16 points from a possible 18, extending their lead over second placed China, on eight points.
Son key for next season
Going into the new season, the target for Postecoglou’s Tottenham has to be Champions League football and with Son in good form, the Lilywhites certainly could target that.
A new striker looks to be one of the main priorities for Tottenham this summer but getting the best out of Son will be vital if Postecoglou’s side are to excel in the Premier League.
It was another outstanding season for Son with the Korean forward netting 17 goals and providing 10 assists for the North London club and getting the best out of Son, who remains one of the best forwards in the country, is key.
