Arsenal have made a spectacular late move to sign Thomas Lemar from Monaco.

Liverpool were reportedly interested in signing the French forward, and even approached the club with a formal offer.

However, the Gunners have offered £92 million for the 21-year-old, according to Sky Sports, and Monaco could be tempted by Arsenal’s massive offer.

Manchester City have offered £55 million for Alexis Sanchez, but Arsenal are reluctant to let him leave this summer without the arrival of a replacement.

Championship outfit Wolverhampton Wanderers are close to completing a £10m deal for PSV’s Jurgen Locadia, according to Sky Sports (transfer live blog; August 31 -14:56 pm).

The 23-year-old Dutch footballer who plays as a striker or left winger for PSV Eindhoven, also attracted interest from Sunderland and Brighton, but Wolves are favourites to sign him.

Kyle Jameson

According to reports from Sky Sports (transfer live blog; August 31 – 14:50 pm), Chelsea defender Kyle Jameson is on his way to West Brom for a medical.

Jameson is an 18-year-old defender and he will join the club’s U-23 squad on a 12-month deal.
