John Swift could be off to Yorkshire this summer, with both Sheffield United and Leeds United being strongly linked with the Reading midfielder.

Berkshire Live reports that Sheffield United have already offered £3.5 million for Swift, in whom Leeds are also said to be interested.

The former Chelsea academy player has scored or made 15 goals in 35 Championship games for Reading this season and has two years left on his contract.

But would the figures quoted be enough to see them part with their prized asset?

Well, not according to the following Royals fans – who are encouraging Sheffield United and Leeds, or any other interested party, to loosen the purse strings…

Swift has played against Sheffield United and Leeds on two and six occasions, respectively, but has yet to register a goal or assist against either Yorkshire side, who could renew their rivalry at Premier League level next season.

The 25-year-old has only appeared once at that level, as a substitute for Chelsea in 2014.
