Georges-Kevin Nkoudou has some Tottenham Hotspur fans talking on Twitter.
That’s because the former Spurs winger scored a worldie on Saturday night.
Nkoudou, who left Tottenham to join Besiktas last summer, scored his team’s third goal in a 5-1 demolition away to Denizilispor – and what a goal it was.
The 25-year-old played a cute one-two with a team-mate before volleying into the top corner from an acute angle.
It’s fair to say that he never scaled those heights at Tottenham, having made just 18 Premier League appearances during his three years on the Lilywhites’ books, scoring no goals and setting up one.
He wasn’t one of Mauricio Pochettino’s better signings, but he clearly has talent and here’s how some Spurs fans reacted to his latest stunner:
Despite plying his trade in Turkey, an arguably inferior league to the Premier League, Nkoudou hasn’t been a huge success as of yet.
The French attacker has managed only three goals in 22 Super Lig appearances and therefore you can’t really argue that Tottenham were wrong to sell him.
