Celtic defender Kolo Toure was in fine form this week as his side drew with Manchester City.

The Scottish champions hosted Pep Guardiola’s side at Celtic Park in the second of their Champions League Group C matches.

Few expected anything of them against City, especially after their opening game mauling at the hands of Barcelona.

Instead, they put in a superb all-round display as they matched the Premier League leaders across the park in the eventual 3-3 draw.

Conceding three goals would suggest that their defence was not in good form but in truth they were all star performers against a rampant Manchester City attack.

Key to the performance was Toure, whose vast experience showed why Brendan Rodgers was keen to bring him to the club this summer.

His passing was also solid as he posted 30 accurate passes in total and enjoyed an overall passing accuracy 73%.
