Leeds kicked off their season in style at the weekend.

Leeds United were too much for opponents Stoke City at the weekend as they earned a 3-1 victory in their Championship opener.
New manager Marcelo Bielsa’s style of football proved an instant hit, and the Whites’ season is off to a perfect start.
Manchester City defender Benjamin Mendy was both impressed and unsurprised at Leeds’ display.
Mendy, worth £52 million, starred under Marcelo Bielsa at Marseille and remains a huge fan of the Argentine boss.

He was paying attention to their season start, despite City being busy that same afternoon winning the Community Shield at Wembley against Chelsea.
Mendy’s Manchester City colleague Jack Harrison was on the bench as Leeds won at Elland Road, with the loanee not yet required.
Leeds’ challenge is to repeat and maintain the intensity of their performance throughout the season and that will not be easy.
They have set a high bar, but last year’s similarly strong start to the season will have been a warning that their form can quickly desert them.
