Alexandre Lacazette has taken to Instagram to demand that his Arsenal teammate Nicolas Pepe passes the ball ‘a little’ following yesterday’s 3-0 Europa League win over Molde.

The ex-Lyon striker wrote: ‘Pass a little.’

In our view, the France international – who cost Arsenal £52.7 million – is being playful rather than malicious here.

Lacazette is most likely joking about the fact Pepe was quite eager to make amends for his red card by impressing last night, taking a lot of shots and being a bit selfish in doing so.

Arsenal had 19 shots against the Norwegian side, with the Ivorian responsible for six of them alone. The ex-Lille winger also embarked on a huge eight dribbles.

He was quite one-minded last night, although he scored, Arsenal won, and WhoScored gave him a perfect ten rating, so it’s all good.

William Saliba also commented on Pepe’s Instagram post in French, writing ‘C important de reprendre de la pêche 🤩’ which loosely translates to ‘it is important to recover momentum’ – he’s clearly attempting to encourage the forward.

While the Arsenal No.19’s time in the Premier League isn’t going to plan following his red card at Elland Road, his form in the Europa League has been incredible.

Pepe now has three goals and two assists in the Europa League in just four appearances.
