Arsenal could be about to pull off one signing that could add the killer instinct to the Gunners ahead of another tilt at the Premier League title.
Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal have never quite had the bottle or the killer instinct to be able to quite get over the line in the Premier League title race.
The North London side suffered a 2-0 defeat at home to Aston Villa in April which really dented the Gunners’ title hopes with Manchester City having games in hand.
Going into the new season, Arsenal have to make signings that could give them the edge over Pep Guardiola’s side and there is one they could make.

Arsenal interested in winger who possesses killer instinct
Sources have told HITC that Bayern Munich winger Kingsley Coman is attracting interest from Premier League clubs as well as teams from the Saudi Pro League.
The Frenchman’s future in Bavaria is far from certain with the German side currently prioritising a new contract for 28-year-old wide man Leroy Sane.
Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool have all been approached by intermediaries about a potential deal and the North London club have to ensure that they do all they can to sign the winger.
Arsenal certainly have options in the wide areas but none with the trophy winning experience that Coman, who previously played for Juventus, Paris Saint-Germain and currently at Bayern, has in abundance.
Speaking in an interview with the Bundesliga website, Coman said previously: “I’ve developed. Before, I maybe didn’t have as much diligence in my final action because I knew I was going to get the ball again.
“But now, when I have to go for it, it will be with a killer instinct and a willingness to be effective every time.
“I’ve been lucky enough to only play with big clubs. I know to what extent consistency is essential. I’m steeped in that mentality.
“I never slacken off. You know in all the clubs that I’ve been, if you lose two matches in a row it’s a crisis. I’ve always been steeped in this absolute requirement [to perform and win matches].”
Coman could be perfect for Arsenal
Arteta has carefully constructed a squad that is young enough to develop as a group and good enough to win the big trophies in the near future.
However, one small criticism of the team could well be that they don’t have any players who are used to the run in to win the big trophies.
The current set of Arsenal players are not well versed in winning the big trophies but Coman, who has won multiple league titles and the Champions League in 2020, would offer that experience in abundance.
