Brighton & Hove Albion fans have swatted aside rumours that Arsenal want Tariq Lamptey.
The Daily Mirror claim that Arsenal are interested in the Brighton full-back, as they seek a replacement for Hector Bellerin.
But many Seagulls fans do not think that a move to the Emirates Stadium will appeal to the youngster.
Others suggest that Arsenal would need to pay a huge fee to even stand a chance of getting hold of the rapid defender.
Lamptey’s standing has quickly grown since he moved to Brighton, as he has proven to be a major threat in the Premier League.
The 20-year-old’s pace and energy has made him a major attacking threat for Graham Potter’s side.

Unfortunately for Brighton, Lamptey has been suffering with injury, which has ruled him out for the last few weeks.
If Lamptey was to move to Arsenal he would surely be an upgrade on Bellerin, who has struggled for form this season.
But, as things stand, there must be some doubt over whether the Gunners could afford to finance such a transfer – with Brighton already proving that they will not sell players cheaply, after standing firm over Ben White’s price-tag last summer.
