Tottenham Hotspur were reportedly keen on Aaron Wan-Bissaka.

After Tottenham Hotspur beat Crystal Palace in their first game at the club’s new stadium, fans raved about the performance of Eagles right-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka.
And sure enough, reports later emerged claiming Tottenham wanted to sign the England under-21 international, with The Sun citing their interest.
Tottenham made an approach, unsuccessfully, The Times reported.
Wan-Bissaka is now free to complete his move to Manchester United, with BBC Sport reporting it will be sealed imminently.
Figures relating to the deal might have Spurs regretting not pushing any interest they did have further.
Wan-Bissaka’s move will cost United £50 million, with £45 million up front, with the player set to earn £80,000 per-week wages.
These financial details are all within Tottenham’s price range. Spurs are bidding more to sign midfielder Tanguy Ndombele.

Spurs can’t sign everybody, but right-back is a position most supporters would agree needs to be addressed.
Kieran Trippier’s performances took a major step back last season and once again Serge Aurier failed to step up.
Spurs could have got most of the Wan-Bissaka fee back from offloading the pair.
Tottenham fans will have faith in Daniel Levy and Mauricio Pochettino to figure out the right-back situation, but they may have missed out on an excellent and affordable solution.
