Sensible decision
In our view, Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Harry Winks is making the right decision in moving to Sampdoria on loan in the summer transfer window.
Tottenham head coach Antonio Conte clearly does not think that the £50,000-a-week (Spotrac) England international midfielder is good enough to play for his team on a weekly basis.

Winks is only 26, and his best is yet to come.
Sampdoria are an established club in Serie A, and if Winks gets the chance to play regularly for them this season, then he should take it.
There is no point in the midfielder wasting his time not playing at Tottenham.
Winks has scored two goals and created six big chances in 128 Premier League appearances so far in his career.
The 26-year-old made nine starts and 10 substitute appearances in the Premier League for Spurs last season, providing one assist in the process.
