Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur are both reportedly keen on the RB Leipzig forward.

The Gunners have joined a whole host of clubs in the race to sign RB Leipzig ace Timo Werner, according to the Sun, with Arsene Wenger eyeing up a £50 million summer swoop for the highly-rated forward.
The 21-year-old has been in fine form for Leipzig so far this season, scoring 16 goals in 29 appearances in all competitions, and his fine displays have drawn the attention from the likes of Liverpool, Manchester United and Tottenham.
The Sun claim that Arsenal have stolen a march on their rivals, however, after sending scouts to run their eyes over Werner on Thursday night.
Surely the German would be better off choosing Spurs over the Gunners though

Despite Arsenal’s recent heavy spending, there is undoubtedly a power shift taking place in north London, with Mauricio Pochettino’s Tottenham side proving to be a serious outfit this season.
The Gunners, under Arsene Wenger’s tired and stale regime, have become a club where regression is accepted, whilst their neighbours continue to progress under the innovative guidance of the their Argentine boss.
At just 21, Werner is at the perfect age to join Tottenham, and work under a coach who is notorious for developing talent.

Wenger, meanwhile, has become renowned for stunting the growth and progress of his young stars. Just look at Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Theo Walcott.
The 10-capped Germany international can play anywhere along the front-line, and he would undoubtedly offer Spurs something extra in the final third.
Whether Tottenham will be able to compete with Arsenal financially is another argument all-together, but if the decision is left down to the player, there is surely only one choice that makes sense.
