Leeds United should consider Ghayas Zahid.

As Leeds United work on improving their squad ahead of a promotion battle, manager Thomas Christiansen should consider a raid on his former club.
APOEL have been bolstered by star performances from winger Ghayas Zahid, a 23-year-old Norwegian winger.
Zahid has been in fine form this season, scoring five goals and providing six assists.

Last year he was linked with a move to Manchester City, the Manchester Evening News reported – before switching from Valerenga to APOEL in the summer.
Zahid played in the Champions League in the first half of the season but APOEL were eliminated without winning a game.

The exciting prospect would improve Leeds United’s squad, and be an upgrade on inconsistent and unimpressive winger Hadi Sacko.
Add him to the mix with Ezgjan Alioski, Pawel Cibicki and Stuart Dallas, and Leeds would have a troupe of wingers able to rival the Championship’s best.
Zahid scored 30 goals for former club Valerenga before earning his big move, and the chance of playing in England could tempt him.
Christiansen leaving APOEL for Leeds meant he never got the chance to link up with Zahid, but that isn’t to mean he should not try this Janaury or indeed in the summer.
