Sunderland, West Ham United and West Bromwich Albion appear to be making progress, while one player has left Arsenal.

Hal Robson-Kanu heading for West Bromwich Albion

The Euro 2016 star has been given permission to leave Wales’ training camp for talks over his future, according to Sky Sports.

And it is claimed he is bound for West Brom, where he will discuss terms and undergo a medical.

The 27-year-old’s Reading contract expired at the end of June and he can still sign for a new club after Wednesday’s 11pm deadline.

Sunderland to land Yann M’Vila with Didier N’Dong already in the bag

It had been reported that the Mackems were struggling to agree M’Vila’s release from Rubin Kazan – despite striking a pre-contract agreement which would have kicked into place in January.

However, according to the Guardian, the issue has now been resolved and the Frenchman is flying to Newcastle from London’s Heathrow, where he landed earlier today.

And better yet, fellow midfielder N’Dong has completed his £13 million move from Lorient.

Serge Gnabry leaves Arsenal

The forgotten German winger reminded everyone of his presence at the Rio Olympics, not least Werder Bremen.

And having expressed their interest in Gnabry last week, the Bundesliga side have now concluded a deal to bring the 21-year-old back to his homeland for a fee of around £4.5 million according to the Mail.

West Ham United close on Alvaro Arbeloa deal

The former Liverpool defender is in the country with a view to signing a one-year deal at the London Stadium, so Sky Sports claim.

The Hammers had looked set to sign Micah Richards on loan from Aston Villa, however, the two clubs are struggling to agree a fee.

Arbeloa, 33, should compete with Sam Byram and, er… Michail Antonio for a place at right-back and can also ease the club’s left-back crisis.
