Leeds United Adam Forshaw has suggested to the Leeds That Podcast that he thinks Ben White could join permanently.
White has impressed on loan at Leeds this season from Brighton & Hove Albion and the Whites will surely try and make the transfer a longer-term one if they are promoted.
Brighton are unlikely to want to sell White, but Forshaw insists that the centre-back is loving life at Leeds.
And he suggested that he wouldn’t rule out the possibility of a permanent deal happening in the summer.
“He loves it, though. He absolutely loves it here, so who knows,” the £4m million man (Daily Mail) said.
“Hindsight’s a wonderful thing, but he’s going to be flattered by the interest he’s getting from other clubs, which is understandable.
“He’s a young kid as well, but the grass isn’t always greener. When you’re loved at a place, and he is loved, sometimes you can take that for granted.”

Forshaw will almost definitely be hoping that White does make his move a longer-term one, as he rates the 22-year-old defender so highly.
“He’s brilliant,” Forshaw added. “Someone asked me, one of the fitness coaches, the other day, we were in the gym, who are the best players you’ve played with?
“Potentially, he could probably be one of them. From what I’ve seen this season, he’s got everything.”
White has been a mainstay in Leeds’ side this season, and a vital part of Marcelo Bielsa’s side’s defence.
His ability in possession has really caught the eye, but White has also coped well with the physical demands of the Championship, despite not being the most imposing of figures.
White’s form has helped Leeds establish a lead at the top of the Championship table, with the Yorkshire side now the favourites for promotion.
