Marcelo Bielsa will have been delighted with all of his Leeds United players for their stunning victory over Manchester City in the Premier League on Saturday.
Stuart Dallas scored an injury-time winner as 10-man Leeds beat the Premier League champions elect 2-1 at the Etihad Stadium.
Bielsa looked over the moon at full-time but during the game, the Argentine was reportedly very unhappy with one of his United players.
According to Leeds Live, the veteran coach was ‘visibly angry’ with £4 million signing from 2018 Tyler Roberts on a regular basis throughout the first half.
The report adds that Bielsa even ‘smacked’ himself on the knees in frustration over the Wales international, who he brought off for Robin Koch on 63 minutes.
Still, the manner of the win will have absolved any other player who the former Lazio and Athletic Bilabo coach was upset with during the game.
That’s because Leeds played precisely half the game with a man less than Pep Guardiola’s side and still somehow wound up getting the victory, with Liam Cooper red carded just before the break.
