Nuno Espirito Santo now appears to have ruled out a return to Wolves with the Premier League outfit turning their attention to former Lyon and Ajax manager Peter Bosz, speaking to Elaosboa.
Anmar Al-Haili then said, however, that the 48-year-old was ‘committed’ to seeing out a contract which expires in 2024; his comments in stark contrast to media reports suggesting that Nuno would walk through broken glass in bare feet to pick up where he left off.

And, after distancing himself from the speculation over the weekend, Nuno has now gone one step further, insisting that there are no plans to walk away from a side unbeaten after eight games of the new Saudi Pro League season.
Wolves turn to Peter Bosz with Nuno Espirito Santo staying in Saudi Arabia
“Currently, I am not thinking of leaving the Saudi Federation,” Nuno says. “My thoughts are now on how to prepare the players. How to improve their level on the field, and learn more about their abilities to achieve distinguished results.”
Al-Ittihad’s Vice-President, Ahmed Kaaki, also suggests that reports linking Nuno with an imminent return to the Black Country were wide of the mark from the very beginning.
“Nothing official has reached the club regarding the English team’s desire to obtain the services of the coach,” Kaaki explains. “(The rumours) are incorrect.”
The vice-president refutes claims that Jorge Mendes, Nuno’s agent and a key figure behind the scenes at Wolves, has been attempting to tear up his contract at Al-Ittihad. Furthermore, the Premier League strugglers would have to pay a sizeable termination clause to release Nuno from his current deal.
“(Reports about Mendes) are incorrect,” Kaaki adds, via Al Jazirah. “Even if the coach had a desire to leave, the penalty clause is of high financial value.”
According to The Telegraph, Wolves are now in talks with Peter Bosz as they seemingly move on from Nuno. The Dutchman, famed for his high-intensity, all-action attacking style, is a free agent following his sacking by Lyon recently.
