Micky van de Ven is earning huge praise from his Tottenham Hotspur teammates after beating Luton Town.
Spurs headed to Kenilworth Road on Saturday afternoon with Ange Postecoglou chasing yet another win.
Tottenham dominated the first half but couldn’t make the pressure count before Yves Bissouma picked up a red card.
Spurs fans would have been fearing the worst but Postecoglou’s men still managed to secure the win with Van de Ven firing the only goal of the game.

Van de Ven will have been delighted with his first Premier League goal, but also his defensive display.
Tottenham had to deal with Luton pressure but stood tall to claim a clean sheet and a victory.
Van de Ven wasn’t quite as all-action as defensive teammate Cristian Romero but still recorded an aerial duel, a clearance, a blocked shot and two tackles in a Spurs win.
The summer signing from Wolfsburg took to Instagram to react, admitting that it was a simply ‘unreal’ feeling to score his first Spurs goal.
Tottenham teammates responded with Pape Matar Sarr calling him a ‘baller’.
Pedro Porro added that he doesn’t really know how else to praise Van de Ven, because he is simply so good.

Van de Ven making instant impact for Spurs
Tottenham had been seeking a left-footed centre back for a while amid links to the likes of Josko Gvardiol, Alessandro Bastoni and Pau Torres.
Clement Lenglet was merely a stop-gap and Spurs decided to splash the cash on a £43million deal for Van de Ven.
The expectation was that Van de Ven was still something of a project and would require real time in order to get up to Premier League speed.
Van de Ven has been outstanding in the opening months of the season though and has formed a solid partnership with Romero.
The Dutchman still has room to develop but it’s hard not to get excited about what Van de Ven is right now having impressed in North London.
