His performances last season for Ajax have attracted interest, but earlier this summer he was publicly advised to snub a potential move to Everton.

Earlier this summer, famed Dutch scout Piet de Visser advised Sanchez to hold out for a Champions League club.
He told Voetbal Zone: “Why would you go to a club like Everton if you can not play Champions League?
“And at a top club there is a chance that he will end up on the bench. That would be at eternal sin
“I know how the football works – I’m not naive – but I recommend: stay at Ajax. Then you can choose the top clubs after one or two years.”

Sanchez appears unwilling to wait now that Champions League club Tottenham have expressed their interest.
Ajax were defeated in their Champions League qualifier by Nice. They must now play a qualifier just to get into the Europa League.
He would form a dominant three man central defensive unit with former Ajax stars Jan Vertonghen and Toby Alderweireld.
