Barcelona fans have suggested that they would be more than willing to sell Neto to Arsenal.

Sky claim that Arsenal are lining up a bid for the Brazilian goalkeeper, as they seek to find a new stopper this month.

Neto has barely featured at the Nou Camp this season, with Marc-Andre Ter Stegen their undisputed number one.

And Barca fans have claimed that if Arsenal make a sizeable bid for the 31-year-old then they should accept it.

Arsenal’s need for a new goalkeeper has increased due to Alex Runarsson’s shaky displays.

The hope was that Runarsson would be able to provide cover to Bernd Leno this season, but the Icelandic international has not looked up to the task so far.

Neto is far more proven and his arrival would surely put Leno under some more pressure.

Leno’s place in Arsenal’s starting line-up is almost certain, although the lack of competition doesn’t seem to have negatively impacted on his form, as he has now kept four clean sheets in a row.
