Tottenham may not have signed anybody this transfer window, but their big January signing looks great value for money.

While Tottenham fans are hungry for signings right now after a fruitless summer, their big January transfer is looking like great value for money.
Tottenham splashed out a very reasonable £23 million to sign Lucas Moura from Paris Saint-Germain.
Everton’s £40 million spent on Watford winger Richarlison makes Tottenham’s deal look even more impressive.
Richarlison is a bright talent, but he also has one season in Europe under his belt, in which he played well for just half of it.
Lucas Moura, signed for just over half the price, is four years older and has a far better CV than Richarlison.
He has 36 international caps for Brazil and he is a four-time title winner in France.

Unlike Richarlison, he even has a goal in England in 2018 to his name, with Everton’s new signing failing to find the net since November.
Richarlison can go onto be a hit at Everton, develop his game and live up to his price tag, and it wouldn’t be a surprise.
Tottenham though should be pleased they moved for Lucas Moura instead, who is going to be expected to really kick on this season after showing promise in flashes after his mid-season switch.
£23 million looks very astute business in this market indeed.
