Tottenham midfielder put in a strong performance at the weekend.

Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Moussa Sissoko is arguably the team’s most derided player.
His substitute appearance for Spurs at Wembley against Barcelona was poor, and he was fortunate to get a starting role against Cardiff on Saturday.
To be fair to the Frenchman, he made the most of it.
Sissoko created four goalscoring chances, more than any Tottenham player.
Lucas Moura was the next most effective player, with three key passes.
Sissoko was substituted off in the 84th minute to a standing ovation from supporters.

Tottenham were heavily criticised by pundits and their own fans from the very moment they spent £30 million to sign Sissoko from Newcastle.
The 1-0 win over Cardiff was not a high profile televised game, and won’t do much to change the general perception of the midfielder from the media.
Tottenham fans though will appreciate the effort he is putting in and at the weekend with other players out injured, it was much needed.
