Tottenham youngster netted a winner in the under-23s last night.

Tottenham Hotspur youngster Jack Roles continued his terrific start to 2018 with a winning goal for the under-23s.
Roles netted the decisive goal in a 1-0 victory over Liverpool on Monday night, a game overshadowed by a red card for Adam Lallana.
Roles goal helped Tottenham’s under-23 side record back to back wins for the first time this season, which speaks volumes for their inconsistent form this campaign.

18-year-old Roles is certainly making a name for himself with his recent form, and if it was not for the fearsome competition in the first team, his performances would be sparking discussion for a first team call up.
At present Tottenham are playing at such a high level and there are several senior stars ahead of him in the pecking order, that Roles will find it tough to break through.
All he can do for now is to keep making an impression for the under-23s and hope Mauricio Pochettino will take notice.

Roles finished off a counter attack for Spurs and could easily have scored earlier in the game, with his two efforts blocked.
Roles is a Cyprus under-19 international but was born in London and is eligible to feature for England if he chooses.
If he can break into Tottenham’s first team then a battle may well ensue for his services.
