Arsenal poised to sign teenager

Arsenal fans may be hoping for a dramatic deadline day deal for Thomas Partey, but it’s a teenage talent that appears to be heading to the Emirates Stadium first.

Aftonbladet in Sweden report that the Gunners have agreed a deal to sign Malmo striker Nikolaj Duus Moller, with a fee of around 5 million krona, which is around £435,000 now agreed.

Moller, 18, is a huge striker at 6ft 3in tall, and looks to be a talent for the future having signed a four-year deal with the option of another year.

Klopp’s first Liverpool signing could make permanent exit

Marko Grujic looked to be a real talent for the future when he became Jurgen Klopp’s first signing as Liverpool boss in January 2016, but he has only managed 16 first-team appearances for the Reds.

The Serbian continues to be linked with a move away, and The Independent now report that a permanent move to Werder Bremen may materialise before the deadline.

Bremen have sold Davy Klaassen to Ajax, meaning Grujic could now arrive as his replacement having impressed in two loan spells at Hertha Berlin.

Rangers enquire about signing Everton outcast

Rangers continue to be linked with midfield reinforcements, and whilst Steven Gerrard denied an imminent move for Muhamed Besic over the weekend, the Liverpool Echo claim that contact has been made.

The 28-year-old Bosnian is unwanted at Everton and available for transfer, with Rangers now believed to be considering a deal before the transfer window slams shut.

Celtic still have work ahead to sign AC Milan talent

Reports broke overnight of Celtic’s interest in signing AC Milan ace Diego Laxalt, but STV report that there is still ‘work to be done’ if Laxalt is to end up at Parkhead before the transfer deadline.

The deal is allegedly progressing, but Celtic need to iron out some issues in order to tie up a deal for the Uruguayan.

The 27-year-old has real pace and looks to be ideal for Celtic’s left-wing back spot, but whether they can actually seal a loan deal remains to be seen.
