As the January window ambles towards it’s 11pm conclusion, we can bring you news from Fulham, West Brom and Newcastle United.

Two out the door at Craven Cottage?

Fulham’s forgotten men Maxime le Marchand and Jean Michel Seri are heading out of the door, three years after they arrived from Nice in a combined £30 million deal.

Seldom-seen centre-back Le Marchand is wanted on loan by Belgian outfit Royal Antwerp, as well as a Bristol City side hovering just outside of the Championship play-off places (L’Equipe).

Seri, meanwhile, has swapped West London for Wine Country.

“I know that, technically, he will not have lost anything,” says Bordeaux coach Jean-Louis Gasset after the Ligue 1 outfit agreed a deal for the Ivory Coast international (France Bleu).

Jones stuck at Old Trafford

Newcastle have already been rebuffed in their attempts to sign full-back Brandon Williams from Manchester United and it seems that Phil Jones will be sticking around too.

90Min reported earlier this month that Steve Bruce was a big fan of the £16 million former England international and was hoping to strike a loan deal.

But we can now file this one in the ‘not happening’ department.

“Phil [Jones] has been recovering from a knee injury after an operation he had. He’s working hard to be included again and hopefully he’ll get his fitness back sooner rather than later,” United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer tells Sky (1.40pm).

One in the bag for the Baggies

After snapping up Senegal international targetman Mbaye Diagne, Sam Allardyce’s West Bromwich Albion are about to add another new face to their frontline.

According to The Mail, one-time Leicester City flop Ahmed Musa will arrive in England on Tuesday ahead of a medical with the Premier League strugglers.

Fulham and former employers CSKA Moscow are also keen but, as it stands, it looks like the Hawthorns will be his destination.

With Musa a free-agent, West Brom are under no pressure to complete the deal before tonight’s deadline.
