All the talk at Leeds United right now is about Rodrigo.
According to Sky Sports, the Spaniard is set to join Leeds after Valencia confirmed on Twitter that both clubs had reached an agreement.
But if rumours are believed, the newly-promoted Premier League outfit have taken a big step with regards to signing another striker.
According to Leeds Live, Arsenal’s Sam Greenwood is due to in West Yorkshire to undergo a medical with the Elland Road club.
The 18-year-old attacker has been linked with a £3 million move to Leeds in recent days and it would appear as if the completion of his medical is one of the final phases before it’s done and dusted.
The report adds that Greenwood will go into United’s Under-23 set-up for the time being.
Leeds have bolstered their youth academy with other acquisitions for high-profile young players in recent weeks and Greenwood is right up there.
Spending £3 million on a youth player is a big deal for the club and it’ll be interesting to see how he develops over the coming years, providing a move is completed.
