Douglas, who can operate as a left-back or as a left wing-back, has explained why he liked Rangers and Arsenal as a kid.
Douglas told Leeds’s official website: “I grew up watching Rangers, my family was from Pollock, which is five minutes from there.
“My uncle also lived in London, so when I went down to visit, he stayed two minutes from Highbury, and we went to a few games there.
“So Arsenal were probably the first English team I liked growing up, and I always remember talking to Ian Wright.”
Leeds United spell
Douglas has been on the books of Leeds since the summer of 2018 when he joined from Wolverhampton Wanderers for a transfer fee reported by Sky Sports to be worth £3 million.
According to WhoScored, the 30-year-old Scotland international has made four starts and seven substitute appearances in the Championship for the Whites so far this season.
During the 2018-19 campaign, the left-back made 21 starts and six substitute appearances in the league for the Whites, providing five assists in the process, according to WhoScored.
Football in England is suspended at the moment due to the global health crisis, and it remains to be seen when the season gets back underway.
Leeds are at the top of the Championship table at the moment with 71 points from 37 matches, a point clear of second-placed West Bromwich Albion.
