The Leeds United-linked midfielder Rodrigo de Paul has ‘liked’ two tweets about joining the Whites.
It is claimed that Leeds are in talks about a deal for De Paul, for whom Udinese want no less than €40 million – around £36.3m (Fabrizio Romano).
But United aren’t the only club being credited with an interest and could be rivalled by several top Italian sides, including the reigning Serie A champions Juventus.
Nevertheless, it is only posts mentioning Leeds that appear to have piqued the interest of De Paul, whose last ‘liked’ a tweet three months ago.
According to one Italian report, De Paul ‘seems to be destined’ for Leeds (Fanta Calcio).
It follows Udinese’s acquisition of the former Whites target, Fernando Forestieri.
Forestieri signed a two-year deal with his former club on Tuesday, having left Sheffield Wednesday in June.

And the 30-year-old’s arrival is said to ‘practically confirm’ the departure of De Paul, who has 17 caps for Argentina.
Leeds have already signed two prominent internationals in Rodrigo (Spain) and Robin Koch (Germany) this summer.
