Leeds United winger Jack Harrison has hinted at a possible exit this summer amid interest from Newcastle and Tottenham when asked about his future by Australian media, which was broadcasted on LUTV.
Harrison, 25, started for Leeds and played 60 minutes during Sunday morning’s 1-0 defeat to Aston Villa. The winger was pretty quiet throughout the match, as covered in our player ratings piece. Danny Ings scored a penalty.
Rated at £35million, Harrison is a strong target for Newcastle – while Tottenham have also been linked with a move. The uncapped Englishman has entered the final two years of his contract at Elland Road, this summer.

- Robin Koch an unsung hero at right-back in Leeds’ final games of 21/22
While there has been interest from the two Premier League sides, Leeds have already sold Raphinha. The chances are that Harrison will remain – but he has hinted at a possible exit following the pre-season defeat.
He was asked by Australian media on Sunday morning following the loss, whether he would be leaving Elland Road or staying put. The ex-New York City man said: “Yeah, we’ll see, we’ll see.”
Harrison has hinted at exit amid Newcastle and Tottenham interest
Unless clubs meet the Yorkshire side’s hefty price tag of £35million, it seems unlikely that Leeds will be selling Harrison. Having let Raphinha and Kalvin Phillips go, the Whites are hardly in need of any more cash.
This will simply be down to the player’s desire and if interested parties pay over the odds. Newcastle have the cash necessary to do that, and clearly, Harrison is open to a move. His comments certainly add weight to speculation.
