Jamie O’Hara has launched a vicious attack on Tottenham Hotspur hitman Harry Kane.

Spurs slumped to a new low on Saturday by losing 3-0 to Manchester United in North London.

Bear in mind, the Red Devils lost 5-0 to Liverpool last weekend, which illustrates how far Tottenham are from the Premier League’s elite.

Kane was particularly poor once again and last night, the 28-year-old managed only 33 touches in 90 minutes [WhoScored] – Tanguy Ndombele, a second-half substitute, clocked 31 touches.

Nuno’s side failed to even muster a shot on target which, again, is another damning statistic of how the Lilywhites aren’t really fighting for their manager right now.

In truth, nobody in a white shirt played particularly well – perhaps with the exception of Lucas Moura, whose removal on 54 minutes prompted widespread boos toward the Portuguese coach.

But former Tottenham midfielder O’Hara has singled out the talisman Kane, claiming he is ‘lazy’ and that his perceived apathy acts like a poison on the rest of his teammates.

He told Stadium Astro: “He’s lazy. He’s not working hard. His head goes down. He’s not interested. He was shocking today. What that’s doing is it’s actually poisoning the rest of the players.

“They’re looking at him and if one man stops running, then two men stop running. Then four or five stop running.”

Not happy

You need only look at Kane’s goal return this season to know he isn’t a happy bunny.

One goal in nine Premier League outings is an awful record for the man who won the Golden Boot last term.

The England international tried and failed to leave Tottenham during the summer transfer window, amid speculation of a move to Manchester City.

And his post-transfer window form is certainly a hint that he doesn’t want to be a Spurs player any longer.
