Tottenham Hotspur star Ivan Persic works very hard in the gym, according to a report.
ESPN have reported that Tottenham wing-back Ivan Persic is “one the hardest workers in the gym”.
Antonio Conte, who left Spurs as the head coach over the weekend, reportedly wanted other players at Tottenham to follow the 34-year-old Croatian’s lead.
Tottenham wing-back Ivan Persic an example for Antonio Conte
“Sources suggest Perisic is one the hardest workers in the gym and conducts himself with a level of professionalism in both his conditioning and his conduct which Conte hoped would serve as an example to others,” states the report.
HITC Verdict: Uncertain future at Spurs
In our view, Ivan Persic is facing an uncertain future at Tottenham Hotspur following the departure of Antonio Conte.
It was Conte who signed the Croatian star on a free transfer in the summer of 2022 after his departure from Inter Milan.

Conte and Perisic won the Sere A title together at Inter.
Perisic is 34 now, and the new permanent manager may not use him regularly in the starting lineup at Tottenham like Conte did.
The new Spurs boss may not play with wing-backs.
We should not be surprised if Perisic does leave Spurs at the end of the season.
The 34-year-old has made 17 starts and nine substitute appearances in the Premier League for Tottenham so far this season.
Perisic has scored one goal and given five assists in those games.
