Wolves should take advantage of Premier League clubs’ failures to land Bas Dost.

Newly crowned Championship champions Wolves will already be plotting to how to attain success in the Premier League net season.
Top of their list will be a prolific goalscorer and the smart option would be to look once again towards Portugal to bring in prolific hitman Bas Dost.
The Dutch striker’s numbers are eye watering. He has scored 26 goals in 27 league games this season, 33 in 45 in all competitions. This is no fluke.

Last season he netted 34 goals in 31 league matches, and 37 in 43 in all matches.
In total for Sporting he has scored 69 goals in 86 games, and added 12 assist for good measure too.
The 28-year-old is in the form of his life, and it is looking like an oversight on Wolves’ new Premier League rivals for failing to bring him in.

ESPN reported last year that Everton wanted the striker, while Portuguese newspaper Jornal de Notícias linked Newcastle with a move.
Neither side have been able to ‘get the job done’ and lure the Dutchman so far, but Wolves are a club which mean business.
They have the connections and awareness of the Portuguese league to know all about the prolific striker and should make his signing a top priority.
Not only would they land a terrific goalscorer, but they would stun their rivals too and make a major statement of intent.
