Should West Ham take another look at Christian Benteke?
West Ham’s quest to add a striker in the summer ended disastrously, with Andre Ayew picking up an injury right away and Simone Zaza looking inept.
One player they decided to pass on was Christian Benteke, despite the fact he had scored goals regularly in the Premier League for the past four seasons.
The Belgian international joined Crystal Palace instead and has netted eight goals so far in 18 games.

But now there is a potentially shock twist, with The Mirror reporting Palace are open to cashing in on Benteke, with new boss Sam Allardyce keen to use the funds to overhaul his squad.
While that decision does not reflect well on Benteke perhaps, his goal record is solid enough – eight more than Simone Zaza managed at West Ham.
Bookies Ladbrokes expect Benteke to stay at Palace, pricing it as just 6/4, but list West Ham as his most likely destination if he does leave, at 10/1.

The Mirror reported last summer that West Ham were interested, and despite the striker missing a penalty against them earlier this season, the Hammers should consider re-visiting their interest.
The Hammers are currently mulling over whether to pay half the Benteke fee for Brentford striker Scott Hogan, who has two serious knee injuries behind him and no top flight goals.
