Moussa Sissoko has told Stadium Astro that he has improved on ‘everything’ since Jose Mourinho was appointed Tottenham boss.
It has been over a year since Daniel Levy opted to push the red button, which saw the popular Mauricio Pochettino leave Spurs and the forthright, trophy-laden coach, Mourinho, replace him.
Whilst Spurs have had their critics, Mourinho has pushed the North London club towards challenging for the title in recent months and Sissoko has played his part in the middle of the park.
The combative and energetic midfielder was asked what aspects of his game he has improved on under Mourinho.
“Well, I can say on everything,” said Sissoko. “Defensively, offensively or even mentally I am more stronger.
“I try to be all the time alert of the game and try to read the game. I think I learn a lot of things and then we all learn since he came.
“When you have a manager like him, you can always improve, so let’s keep going in that direction because there are still a lot of things to do.”

It has been over four years since Tottenham paid then-relegated Newcastle £30 million for Sissoko’s services [BBC Sport].
Even the Frenchman will admit that for the first few years, he really struggled to showcase his talents in North London before being arguably Tottenham’s best player during the last 18 months of Mauricio Pochettino’s reign.
It has been some turnaround for the previously struggling midfielder, who has been an underrated figure during that time and someone who is very much loved by his supporters.
