Moussa Sissoko joined Tottenham Hotspur from Newcastle United in the summer transfer window.
Former Arsenal midfielder Ray Parlour suggested on The Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast show on talkSPORT on Monday morning (broadcast from 6am, November 28, 2016) that Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Moussa Sissoko is not worth £30 million.
Sissoko joined Premier League outfit Tottenham from Championship club Newcastle United in the summer transfer window.
According to BBC Sport, Spurs had to pay a transfer fee of £30 million to Newcastle in order to secure the services of the France international midfielder.
Merseyside outfit Everton were also interested in Sissoko in the summer, according to the report.
Former Arsenal midfielder Parlour has suggested that the 27-year-old is not worth £30m.
“For me, I would have put him down as a £15 million, £20m player, not £30m,” said Parlour about Sissoko on The Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast show on talkSPORT on Monday morning (broadcast from 6am, November 28, 2016).
Sissoko is a good player, but he has not been playing well for Tottenham this season.
The former Toulouse star is not guaranteed a place in the Spurs starting lineup.
The Frenchman is inconsistent, and perhaps Tottenham did overpay for him in the summer, even though he did play well for France at the 2016 European Championship.
