RB Salzburg attacker Noah Okafor has reportedly told his agent that he is open to signing for AC Milan, with Arsenal and Liverpool also believed to be interested in the Swiss international.
According to CalcioMercato, the 22-year-old attacker is excited by interest from the reigning Serie A champions, with Okafor keen to sign for a big club in 2023 following an explosive season with Salzburg, with the striker bagging 11 goals and two assists in all competitions.
As per the report, €35m (£30m) is all it will take to land Okafor in the new year, with Milan now seemingly leading the race to sign the Switzerland prospect, though the Rossoneri are far from the only club interested in signing the breakout youngster.
Sky Germany reporter Florian Plettenburg has previously claimed that Liverpool are eyeing the forward ahead of the January transfer window. Whilst according to Calciomercato, Arsenal are chasing the attacker as Mikel Arteta looks to add to his striking ranks in north London.

Indeed, interest in Okafor is rife, and with the forward now featuring for Switzerland at the 2022 FIFA World Cup, this could only increase in the coming weeks if the European nation progress far enough into the competition, much to the dismay of Milan.
As stated by CalcioMercato, the youngster is a perfect fit for the Rossoneri and their new transfer policy under Paolo Maldini. Yet whilst the club and the player himself seem confident in a deal being concluded, a lot can change after the World Cup, particularly on Arsenal and Liverpool’s end.
Milan signing Okafor is not a sure-bet just yet

Okafor’s age, current ability and potential makes the Swiss youngster a perfect fit for Milan, with the Italian giants seeing amazing results with their newfound transfer policy in recent years. However, signing the Swiss star isn’t guaranteed just yet, mainly due to Switzerland’s World Cup campaign still going on.
Although Arsenal and Liverpool might struggle to match what Milan will offer for Okafor, the Premier League duo could easily increase their interest in the forward if he begins to impress in Qatar, which might see the reigning Serie A champions drop out of the race entirely in the coming weeks.
