Morgan Gibbs-White has taken to Twitter following Conor Coady’s heroics for England to send a four-word message to the Wolves captain.

The man currently on loan at Swansea wrote ‘Coads your the best’ after watching his Molineux teammate score on his first start for England.

It would be difficult not to feel happy for the ex-Liverpool man after seeing him bag for the Three Lions. In doing so, he became the first Wolves player to score for England since Steve Bull in 1990 according to Opta.

After all, his rise to the top has been inspirational.

After being released by Liverpool, Coady joined Huddersfield before being picked up by Kenny Jackett for just £2 million according to the BBC.

Since then, he has helped the Midlands-based club out of the Championship and into heights he might not have ever dreamed of reaching, such as the Europa League quarter-final.

If things weren’t already great for Coady, he also ended the night wearing the captain’s armband – Gareth Southgate has clearly taken a shine to him.

In Gibbs-White’s case, it’s good to see he’s still keeping in touch with those at Molineux.

The Stafford-born midfielder – who The Sun say earns £30k-a-week – is currently doing well at Swansea, scoring one goal and setting up another in four Championship appearances so far.

He has represented England at Under-16, Under-17, Under-18, Under-19 and Under-21 level so far in his career.

If he keeps his head down and works hard, there’s no reason why Gibbs-White can’t emulate Coady with time on his side at just 20 years of age.
