France manager Didier Deschamps has confirmed that Moussa Sissoko is currently in London, in quotes published by Le10 Sport.

Chelsea and Everton have also emerged as a potential destination in recent hours but Sissoko’s presence in London appears to rule out a move to Goodison Park.
Whether the 27-year old makes the switch to Stamford Bridge or White Hart Lane remains to be seen but there would have to be a considerable compromise if the latter is to be the case.

Spurs have reportedly offered £21 million for the powerful midfielder but the Magpies have a been staunch in their view that he will not leave for less than £30 million.
Sissoko’s exit from Newcastle seems to be in the best interests of all parties and it’s this fact which suggests something could get over the line before tonight’s 11pm deadline.
Tottenham’s need for a player of the ilk of Sissoko is far greater than that of Chelsea’s and it’s possible that the clubs have come to some sort of agreement.
With around six hours left until the window slams shut, all will become clear very soon.
