West Bromwich Albion’s trip to Watford could be Alan Pardew’s last as manager if they lose so here are three changes the Englishman could try.

Alan Pardew will be in charge of West Bromwich Albion for this weekend’s trip to Watford but as the BBC reports, defeat in that Premier League clash could see the Englishman sacked as manager.
Essentially the 56-year-old has one final chance to save his job and if the Baggies are to do what they have only achieved three times this season and once under Pardew and win a league game, then here are three changes that could well help.

Drop Gareth Barry
In West Brom’s 2-1 home defeat to Huddersfield Town in their last outing Barry looked every one of his 37 years as he laboured in midfield and gave the ball away constantly.
Went off after 64 minutes to a number of boos at the Hawthorns and while the veteran could be looked at as a leader in a time of trouble, he is simply a hindrance currently.
Start Chris Brunt
With Jonny Evans offering almost as little leadership as Barry after being reinstated as captain against the Terriers, perhaps Brunt is the one who should have the armband.
Now in his 11th year with the club the 33-year-old came off the bench to set up Craig Dawson’s goal and for his set pieces alone the Northern Ireland international should be starting.

Make Jay Rodriguez the focal point in attack
Salomon Rondon was just as poor as Barry against Huddersfield and when going forward the striker only seems to serve in holding up the speed and breaking down the play.
Rodriguez has shown glimpses of what he can do when played through the middle since Pardew took charge and with Daniel Sturridge injured, why not shake things up in attack a little?
