Celtic fans have taken to Twitter to react after finding out that Jeremie Frimpong registered a great assist against BSC Young Boys last night.

Unfortunately, Bayer Leverkusen succumbed to a 4-3 defeat against the Swiss side in the Europa League Round of 32.

The Bundesliga outfit found themselves 3-0 down, but rallied back to score three themselves, although it wasn’t enough.

The first of Bayer Leverkusen’s goals was scored by Patrik Schick, following a ‘great’ assist from Frimpong in the words of the club’s Twitter account.

In truth, it really was a fantastic assist.

Frimpong whipped an inch-perfect cross onto the Czech Republic international’s head, which he then thumped home.

It was the 20-year-old’s sixth assist in all competitions this season, and the first for his new club following an £11.5 million January switch.
