Rangers are still keen on a move for Ryan Kent.

Rangers are not giving up on the hope of signing Ryan Kent before the transfer deadline.
The Daily Record report Kent may look to push through a move to Ibrox amid frustration at his situation with Liverpool.
Here are three things Kent would bring to Ibrox if he links back up with Rangers.
Raised competition
Rangers are not short of wingers, not by a long stretch. Sheyi Ojo has had a storming start at Ibrox, and Brandon Barker has just signed.
Kent increases competition for places further and this should keep the others at the top of their game.
A long season awaits Steven Gerrard’s side, and having multiple options in attack might help avoid the attacking slump which derailed their season last February.
Bringing Kent in would help get the best out of the whole squad.

Proven quality
Brandon Barker is a gamble, and Sheyi Ojo’s previous loan spells have shown inconsistency, so Rangers don’t know what’s around the corner.
Rangers’ reluctance to give Jake Hastie game time underlines their hesitancy over him.
Kent is different. He could be a cut above all of them. His form for Rangers showed this last season, and he has proven that he can do it in the big games, starring against Celtic.
Quite simply, Kent would be Rangers’ best winger, so turning down a deal based purely on numbers would be an error.
Kent’s connection with the rest of the Rangers’ squad, like Alfredo Morelos, will help him settle instantly.
A motivated player
Kent certainly will have hoped to have had his future sorted by now.
From the outside, it certainly does not feel as though Liverpool are giving him a fair deal, even leaving him out of the under-23 side in midweek.
Now there may be something everything is missing, but the Daily Record‘s report that Kent is frustrated could work in the club’s favour.
He will want to make up for lost time and prove Rangers right for continuing to push for a move and not give up on him, and also show Liverpool a thing or two at the same time.
